ABOUT

Welcome to visit our web site - The Electronics & Information Technology Center (EITC) has been established since 2000. The Center grew up from major research labs locate in Departments of Electronic Engineering, Biomedical Engineering, Information and Computer Engineering, and Electrical Engineering, Chung-Yuan Christian University. The mission of the Center is to develop the low power and portable system-on-a-chip (SOC) technology for diversified field applications by using sensor and VLSI related methodology.

The Center concentrates its research works on the following fields: (under construction)

Danny Wen-Yaw Chung, Ph.D., Senior Member, IEEE

Prof. Electronic Engineering, CYCU

Dr. Chung received the B.S. degree and the M.S. degree in electronic engineering from Chung-Yuan Christian University, Chung-Li, Taiwan, in 1979 and 1981 respectively, and the Ph.D. degree in electrical and computer engineering from Mississippi State University, Mississippi State,USA, in 1989.

Subsequently, he joined the Advanced Microelectronics Division, Institute for Technology Development, Mississippi State, where he was involved in the design of a bipolar optical data receiver. In 1990, he was a Design Manager with the Communication Product Division, United Microelectronics Corporation, Hsinchu, Taiwan, where he was involved in the design of analog CMOS data communication integrated circuits. Since 2006, he has been a Professor with the Department of Electronic Engineering, Chung Yuan Christian University. His research interests include mixed-signal VLSI design, biomedical IC applications, and sensor interfacing for deep-submicrometer VLSI electronics.

Established in 1990

Mixed-Mode VLSI Design Lab. CYCU

Mixed-Mode VLSI Design Lab. (mmic design lab) has been established since 1990/08. The main target of this lab is to develope all diversified technology and knowledge related to VLSI field applications. The achievements of past twenty years are presented by those alumni who stayed in this lab. in short-term and long term.  Welcome  your joining to this lab. for pursuing the state of art in an intelligent life and green technology.
